Our collection of day tickets, detailed below, provide money saving ways for tourists, families, and daytrippers to explore the region.
All day Subway ticket

The All day Subway ticket gives you one day unlimited travel on the Subway. It is available all day, every day of the week, and is a great way to explore Glasgow. Remember, you can get 20% off if you go Smart.
Price: £4.20 for adults and £2.10 for children* from any Subway station.
* Applies to children under 16 years old. Children under five travel for free if accompanied by a fare paying adult.
Roundabout ticket
The Roundabout ticket gives one-day unlimited travel by ScotRail and Subway to over 110 stations within the Greater Glasgow area (see white shaded area of Roundabout map for station details). Roundabout tickets are valid after 9:00am Monday to Friday and all day at the weekends and on Glasgow public holidays.
Roundabout tickets are only available to purchase from ScotRail. These are available at any staffed rail station (in the area shown on the map below) and from on-train staff. Please note that as from 1 October 2020 ScotRail will no longer accept cheques.

Daytripper ticket
The Daytripper ticket gives you unlimited* travel for one day by ScotRail, Subway, most buses**, and some ferries in the Strathclyde region. Tickets are valid after 9.00am on Monday to Friday and all day at the weekends and on Glasgow public holidays.
*Except on night service buses, tours, excursions or premium services including the First Glasgow 500 and the U1 (UWS Link) service.

Price: £23.20 for two adults and up to four children (5-15 years inc.) or £13.10 for one adult and up to two children (5-15 years inc.).
You can buy your Daytripper ticket online, at a ticket office (see below) or from any staffed ScotRail station. Tickets cannot be bought from on-board operators’ services. Please note that as from 1 October 2020 ScotRail will no longer accept cheques.

How to use: Daytripper tickets can be bought in advance or on the day. Simply rub off the year, month, date and day when you start your first journey. Remember to seal down the plastic cover or your ticket will not be valid! Tickets must be redeemed within the valid ticket period – no refunds or replacements will be given once expired.

The Daytripper ticket is also valid on all SPT supported services (within the Daytripper area and subject to the validity times as previously stated above), but is not valid for use on night service buses, tours, excursions or premium services including the First Glasgow 500 and the U1 (UWS Link) service.
